| Further Description of Piece | Name: Chicken Business
Traditional black South Africans nurture and almost treat the chicken like a child, carrying it on their heads and backs. In the western culture chicken is mainly breaded (in a clinical, impersonal way) to produce eggs or to eat. They are "eating" their fellow countryman's values in their ignorance. Many of South Africa's cultural problems arises out of disrespect for each other's cultures. |
